I am passionate about creating experiences that make people feel valued; my highest goal is to make a positive ripple in the lives of the people that God puts into my life. I am striving to bring balance and ease to the minds and bodies of my clients through my training in various modalities(swedish, deep tissue, thai, lymphatic drainage) which I piece together like a MOSAIC and customize to each client. My style of massage can be described as restorative, focused, detailed, and very effective with empathy being the force behind every massage.
I've had a career in massage therapy for close to 6 years and in that amount of time I have massaged in a variety of settings (spa, healing center, chiropractors office, pilates studio, out calls and a couple different independently owned practices) before opening Mosaic in Feb. 2015. Prior to massage school I was a fine arts student but always knew I wanted to open a business that would improve the quality of others lives. Everything clicked when I received my first ever professional massage which was desperately needed after running my one and only half marathon race on very little training(I was hurting! lol). I saw what a big difference in made in how I felt and decided in that moment(after drilling my massage therapist with questions about her job), that was what I wanted to do. My love of art was another driving factor in my desire to start my own business and to create a unique space that feels peaceful, joyful and thoughtful. We hope you love the space and everything about your experience at MOSAIC!
Massage changed my life; quite a statement but no less true. In seeking help for some physical issues, I gained benefits for my mental health as well. I decided then and there I wanted to commit to helping others in that way. I graduated 4 years ago from Seacoast Career Schools in Sanford Maine at the top of my class.
I love everything about this career: the body, mind body connection, and sharing knowledge, and facing the challenges both mental and physical that each client brings to a session. Its my desire and commitment to make real differences for anyone seeking relief, relaxation, or restoration.
Knowing that I have the ability to help a person feel better makes me incredibly happy. Working in a peaceful environment is also a huge perk. Peaceful job + happy clients =a career worth holding onto!
My journey to this career started in cosmetology and while I liked it, I didn't feel like I had found my passion. After giving it a few years of thought I decided to enroll in massage school and found something that I truly love. I graduated from Salter School in 2015 and have taken additional training in Table Thai massage and prenatal massage.
